B77 · for ChatGPT

ChatGPT plugins

B77 is the App Store for your AI assistant. A phone ships with built-in apps and you install more to extend it; ChatGPT ships with built-in abilities and B77 apps — ChatGPT plugins — extend it with your own tools and data.

Every app is a hosted MCP server: nothing to install locally, sign in with OAuth, EU-hosted and curated by B77.

The vocabulary

Plugins, apps or connectors?

OpenAI has used all three words. Since July 2026 the official term is again "plugins" — that is what the Plugin Directory lists and what the ChatGPT UI shows. "Apps" live inside plugins, and "connectors" is the legacy name from the earlier release. Under the hood they are the same thing: a remote MCP server ChatGPT talks to.

A B77 app is added as a custom plugin. Turn on Developer mode, add a plugin, paste the app's MCP URL and sign in — that is the whole setup. If you have seen the phrase "ChatGPT MCP", it means exactly this. Nothing runs on your machine and there is nothing to update; the app is already hosted.

Pretty steady. You hovered around 110 mg/dL most of the night, with one quick rise around 4am that came back down on its own. No alerts. Time-in-range was 94%.
And the whole week?

Used Nightscout

78% time-in-range over the last 7 days — up 4 points from the prior week. Wednesday and Saturday were the rough ones, both after dinner.

FAQ

Common questions about ChatGPT on B77

Do I need Developer mode?

Yes, for now. Custom plugins with an MCP URL are added through Developer mode in ChatGPT settings; the B77 install steps above walk you through enabling it. Once added, the plugin is available in your chats like any other.

Is this the same as ChatGPT connectors / ChatGPT MCP servers?

Yes. "Connectors" is the earlier name for what OpenAI now calls plugins, and "MCP server" is the technical term for what a plugin connects to. A B77 app is one MCP server, added to ChatGPT as one plugin.

Does it work in the ChatGPT app on my phone?

A plugin added on the web is attached to your account, not to one device. Which surfaces can use it is decided by OpenAI — check their current availability per platform.

Is it free?

B77 apps are free to add unless the app page says otherwise. Developer mode and plugins are ChatGPT features — check OpenAI's current plan matrix for what your plan includes.

What data can ChatGPT access?

Only what the app's OAuth scope grants and what the app page lists under "What this app can see". ChatGPT cannot reach beyond those tools, and you can revoke the plugin from your B77 account at any time. See "How B77 keeps access safe" for the details.
