About

What it does.

You already run Nightscout. B77 doesn't replace it — it connects your assistant to the instance you already have. Connect once, keep full ownership, and ask Claude or ChatGPT how your day looked, what your time-in-range is, or how last night went. Read-only by design; nothing is written back, nothing is stored on B77.

Nightscout is the open-source CGM data platform thousands of T1D families already trust. This app makes that data conversational — ask your assistant how the day went, what your TIR was, or how last night looked, and get a real answer in plain language. Read-only by design; nothing is written back to your instance.

What you can ask

Just type and go.

How's my glucose today?

What was my time-in-range this week?

Was last night a rough one?

Compare this week to last week.

Capabilities

Read-only.

Your assistant can look things up through this app; it never changes anything in the connected tool.

I'm an endocrinologist. I now recommend this to half my patients on day one. The plain-English summaries help non-tech parents enormously.

I stopped opening the Nightscout app entirely. I just ask Claude. Game changer for parents of T1D kids — I can ask 'how is she now?' from anywhere and get a real, thoughtful answer instead of just a number.

Took 30 seconds to set up. The weekly summary saves me real time at endo appointments. I just paste it into the doc visit.

Developer response · Apr 19, 2026

Thanks Tom! The weekly summary view was specifically built for endo prep. Glad it's landing.

Wish it could text me alerts too. Otherwise — perfect. Way better than the existing apps for ad-hoc questions.

Developer response · Apr 12, 2026

Alerts are on the roadmap for Q3 — appreciate the push.

Finally I can ask 'was last night rough?' and get a real summary instead of staring at a graph. The natural language layer is the killer feature.

My Type-1 partner and I both connected our instances. We can ask about each other. Honestly emotional in a way I did not expect.

Solid. Sometimes Claude over-explains, but I prefer that to under-explaining. 4 stars instead of 5 only because it cannot yet log carbs.

Q & A

Questions, answered.

Do I need a Nightscout account?

Yes. B77 talks to your existing Nightscout instance — we don't store glucose data ourselves. If you don't have one yet, the open-source community has setup guides for Heroku and Vercel.

Is my data private?

Your assistant talks directly to your Nightscout URL using a token you provide. Nothing is stored on B77 servers. You can revoke access from your Nightscout admin anytime.

Will it work for kids on Dexcom / Libre?

Yes — Nightscout is the data layer, so anything that uploads to Nightscout works (Dexcom G6/G7, Libre 2/3, MiaoMiao, Spike, Tomato, etc).

Does it support alerts?

Not yet. Today it's read-only — you ask, it answers. Push alerts are on the roadmap for Q3.

Can I see other family members?

Yes. Set up multiple Nightscout instances and ask: "How is Mira today?" — the assistant will pick the right one.

How do I connect Nightscout MCP to Claude?

Nightscout is a hosted MCP server, so it becomes a Claude connector without installing anything locally. 1. Open the app page on B77 and click Install — copy the connection URL it shows. 2. In Claude: main menu → Customize → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector. 3. Name it after what it does, paste the URL into "Remote MCP server URL", sign in with your B77 account. The same connector shows up in claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude Code. The connection URL is https://nightscout.b77.ai/mcp.

How do I connect Nightscout MCP to ChatGPT?

Nightscout is a hosted MCP server, so it becomes a ChatGPT plugin without installing anything locally. 1. Open the app page on B77 and click Install — copy the connection URL it shows. 2. In ChatGPT: Settings → Safety & Login → enable Developer Mode. 3. Open Plugins → "+" top right → name the plugin, paste the B77 URL, sign in with your B77 account — it is now available in any chat. The connection URL is https://nightscout.b77.ai/mcp.

How do I connect Nightscout MCP to Cursor?

Nightscout is a hosted MCP server, so it becomes a Cursor MCP server without installing anything locally. 1. Open the app page on B77 and click Install — copy the connection URL it shows. 2. In Cursor: Settings → MCP servers → "+ Add new MCP server" — or edit mcp.json directly: { "mcpServers": { "teamwork": { "url": "https://teamwork.b77.ai/mcp" } } }. 3. Save and restart; Cursor asks you to sign in with your B77 account once, then the tools are available to the agent. The connection URL is https://nightscout.b77.ai/mcp.

What data can Nightscout access?

Reads: Your Nightscout glucose readings only. Never sees: Other apps, your messages, or files. Storage: Nothing stored on B77 servers. Access runs through your own OAuth sign-in and stays scoped to your account — B77 never sees your passwords, and you can disconnect the app at any time.

Is Nightscout free?

Yes. Nightscout is free on B77 — no card, no trial clock. Install it, connect it to your assistant and use it. If Nightscout talks to a third-party service, that service's own plan still applies.

Can I share Nightscout with my team?

Yes. From the app's Manage page on B77 you invite teammates by email; they add the same Nightscout connection to their own assistant and use it under your access, without setting up credentials themselves. Team apps such as Knowledge Base, Teamwork and Feedback also let you invite people per project. You can revoke a share at any time, and every call is written to the usage log.
