Put a fixed budget behind a LinkedIn post.

About

What it does.

Pick a post from your company page, say how long and how much per day, and it runs as a properly capped promotion: LinkedIn itself stops delivery when the days or the budget run out. Watch results, pause, done — no campaign-manager spelunking.

Your company page publishes something worth pushing — a launch, a hire, a case study. Promoting it should be one decision, not an afternoon in an ads console.

Pick the post in chat. Every recent post of the page is listed with whether it can be promoted and whether it already is. Say the budget the way you think about it — seven days, twenty-five a day — and the promotion is created with that exact ceiling built in on LinkedIn's side: an end date plus a total cap. When either is reached, delivery stops by itself. There is nothing to remember to switch off.

Say who should see it. Country or city, language, and optionally job titles, functions, seniority, industries or company sizes — names are looked up and confirmed, and the audience size is checked against LinkedIn's minimum before anything is created. Nothing launches by accident: every promotion starts only when you explicitly say so, and a draft costs nothing until you do.

Then ask how it went. Impressions, clicks, spend against the cap, engagement, cost per click — per campaign or per day. Pause and resume in a sentence. Built and operated by B77.

Version 1.0.0

Version history
  • Initial release — promote a page post with a hard budget stop, audience targeting with a size check, results and pause/resume.

Q & A

Questions, answered.

How does the budget stop work?

Every promotion is created with a total cap (days × daily budget) and an end date on LinkedIn's side. LinkedIn halts delivery at whichever comes first — the stop does not depend on anyone remembering to pause.

Can it start spending without me?

No. Starting a promotion requires an explicit yes in the request; otherwise everything is created as a draft that costs nothing. There are no schedules or automatic boosts.

Whose access does it use?

Yours. Connecting approves access with your own LinkedIn account, and every action is checked against your role on the ad account and the page. If your role can't do something, neither can this.

What are the targeting rules?

Audiences are built from professional attributes — location, language, titles, functions, seniority, industries, company sizes — and each choice is confirmed against LinkedIn's own lists, with the audience size checked before launch. LinkedIn's advertising policies apply, including that ads may not discriminate based on personal characteristics like gender, age, race, or ethnicity.

How do I connect LinkedIn Ads MCP to Claude?

How do I connect LinkedIn Ads MCP to Cursor?

LinkedIn Ads is a hosted MCP server, so it becomes a Cursor MCP server without installing anything locally. 1. Open the app page on B77 and click Install — copy the connection URL it shows. 2. In Cursor: Settings → MCP servers → "+ Add new MCP server" — or edit mcp.json directly: { "mcpServers": { "teamwork": { "url": "https://teamwork.b77.ai/mcp" } } }. 3. Save and restart; Cursor asks you to sign in with your B77 account once, then the tools are available to the agent. The connection URL is https://linkedin-ads.b77.ai/mcp.

What data can LinkedIn Ads access?

Reads: Your ad accounts, your page's posts, campaigns and their performance numbers. Writes: Only promotions you ask for — each one budget-capped with an end date on LinkedIn's side, and nothing starts without your explicit go. Never sees: Your LinkedIn password, your personal feed, or accounts you didn't connect — access is exactly what your own LinkedIn role allows. Storage: Nothing stored — each request talks to the LinkedIn API live with a freshly issued token. Access runs through your own OAuth sign-in and stays scoped to your account — B77 never sees your passwords, and you can disconnect the app at any time.

Is LinkedIn Ads free?

Yes. LinkedIn Ads is free on B77 — no card, no trial clock. Install it, connect it to your assistant and use it. If LinkedIn Ads talks to a third-party service, that service's own plan still applies.

Can I share LinkedIn Ads with my team?

Yes. From the app's Manage page on B77 you invite teammates by email; they add the same LinkedIn Ads connection to their own assistant and use it under your access, without setting up credentials themselves. Team apps such as Knowledge Base, Teamwork and Feedback also let you invite people per project. You can revoke a share at any time, and every call is written to the usage log.
