About

What it does.

Ask about a player, a tournament, or a head-to-head and get current chess data — standings, game-by-game results, schedules, and up-to-date player ratings — answered straight in the conversation. No tournament-id hunting, no stale numbers from last year's training data.

Assistants are trained on the past — ask them who's leading a tournament happening right now and they guess. Chess Results connects your assistant to live chess data: find a player, see their recent games and who they face next, pull a tournament's current standings and latest round, or compare two players head-to-head.

B77 collects and continuously updates the numbers, so a player's standard, rapid, and blitz ratings are the real current ones — not a historical snapshot. Ask in plain language ("how is Magnus doing in his last events", "who's winning the tournament in Miami", "top players from Norway") and get clean, dated answers. Built and operated by B77.

What you can ask

Just type and go.

Who's winning the tournament in Miami right now?

Capabilities

Read-only.

Your assistant can look things up through this app; it never changes anything in the connected tool.

Version history
  • Initial release — players, tournaments, head-to-head, and player ratings.

Q & A

Questions, answered.

Where does the data come from?

B77 collects and continuously updates chess data — player ratings, tournaments, standings, and results — and surfaces the current numbers directly in your assistant.

Are the ratings current?

Yes — player cards use the latest standard, rapid, and blitz ratings. The rating shown inside a specific tournament is a historical snapshot from that event and is labelled as such.

How fresh are live tournament results?

Tournaments that are running are re-checked frequently, so standings and finished rounds reflect the latest results, usually within the hour.

What data can Chess Results access?

Reads: Only the player or tournament name you ask about. Never sees: Your messages, files, or other apps. Storage: Nothing of yours is stored — answers come from chess data B77 keeps up to date. Access runs through your own OAuth sign-in and stays scoped to your account — B77 never sees your passwords, and you can disconnect the app at any time.

Is Chess Results free?

Yes. Chess Results is free on B77 — no card, no trial clock. Install it, connect it to your assistant and use it. If Chess Results talks to a third-party service, that service's own plan still applies.

Can I share Chess Results with my team?

Yes. From the app's Manage page on B77 you invite teammates by email; they add the same Chess Results connection to their own assistant and use it under your access, without setting up credentials themselves. Team apps such as Knowledge Base, Teamwork and Feedback also let you invite people per project. You can revoke a share at any time, and every call is written to the usage log.
