The best MCP servers, ranked.

B77 is the App Store for your AI assistant. A phone ships with built-in apps and you install more to extend it; Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor ship with built-in abilities, and B77 apps — Claude connectors, ChatGPT plugins, Cursor MCP servers, all hosted MCP servers — extend them with your tools and data.

"Best" here is not a listicle. It is a live ranking of every published app on B77, recomputed from catalog data each time this page loads.

Ranking = 60% rating × 25% installs × 15% freshness — recomputed on every page load from live catalog data.

Methodology

How the score works

Rating — 60%
The average star rating, damped by review count: an app with one five-star review scores lower than one with twenty. Full confidence at 20 reviews.
Installs — 25%
Installs on a log scale, so 10K counts a lot more than 1K but 100K is not ten times better than 10K. Saturates at 100K.
Freshness — 15%
When the app was last updated. Updated within 30 days scores full marks; the score decays to zero at one year.

Ties keep catalog order (newest first). Browse everything at /apps, or filter by assistant: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor.

FAQ

About this chart

How is this list ranked?

Every published app gets a score: 60% average rating (damped by review count), 25% installs on a log scale, 15% freshness (full marks when updated within 30 days). The score is recomputed from live catalog data on every page load — no editor picks, no paid placement.

Are these the best MCP servers for Claude?

Yes — every app on B77 works in Claude as a connector. The per-client storefronts (/for/claude, /for/chatgpt, /for/cursor) show the same chart filtered to apps that support that assistant.

Are these free?

Most are: 19 of the 19 apps in this chart are free. Paid apps show their price on the app page before you install.

How often does it update?

On every request. New reviews, new installs and app updates change the order the moment the catalog changes — the "Updated" stamp above is the current month.

Why isn't my favourite open-source server here?

B77 lists hosted, curated apps that B77 operates end-to-end — sign in once, no local install, no API keys to paste. Open-source servers you run on your own machine are out of scope. If you build one and want it hosted for everyone, see /publish.
