About

What it does.

Hand your assistant a file — an image, a short clip, a PDF — and get back a clean, shareable CDN link. The bytes upload directly from your machine to storage, so there is no size dance and nothing large ever passes through the conversation.

Sharing a file from a conversation usually means leaving the chat, opening a storage console, uploading, copying a link, and coming back. File Storage collapses that into the conversation: ask your assistant to upload a file and it hands you a permanent public link on a fast CDN.

Uploads are a two-step, direct-to-storage flow — your assistant gives you a one-line command to push the bytes straight from your machine, so even large files never travel through the chat and there is no practical size limit on the model side (100 MB per file). Every file carries the tags and description you give it, so you can find it again later by keyword. Files are immutable and public by an unguessable link; supported types are images (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, SVG), short videos (MP4, WebM, MOV) and PDF. Built and operated by B77.

Q & A

Questions, answered.

Why two steps to upload?

The first step reserves a link and hands you a one-line command; running it pushes the file straight from your machine to storage, so the bytes never pass through the chat and there is no size limit on the model side. The second step confirms the file landed and publishes the link.

Who can see my files?

Anyone with the link. Each file gets an unguessable address, but the file itself is public — do not upload anything secret.

What file types are allowed?

Images (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, SVG), short videos (MP4, WebM, MOV) and PDF, up to 100 MB each. Other types are rejected.

How do I connect File Storage MCP to Claude?

File Storage is a hosted MCP server, so it becomes a Claude connector without installing anything locally. 1. Open the app page on B77 and click Install — copy the connection URL it shows. 2. In Claude: main menu → Customize → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector. 3. Name it after what it does, paste the URL into "Remote MCP server URL", sign in with your B77 account. The same connector shows up in claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude Code. The connection URL is https://file-storage.b77.ai/mcp.

How do I connect File Storage MCP to ChatGPT?

File Storage is a hosted MCP server, so it becomes a ChatGPT plugin without installing anything locally. 1. Open the app page on B77 and click Install — copy the connection URL it shows. 2. In ChatGPT: Settings → Safety & Login → enable Developer Mode. 3. Open Plugins → "+" top right → name the plugin, paste the B77 URL, sign in with your B77 account — it is now available in any chat. The connection URL is https://file-storage.b77.ai/mcp.

How do I connect File Storage MCP to Cursor?

File Storage is a hosted MCP server, so it becomes a Cursor MCP server without installing anything locally. 1. Open the app page on B77 and click Install — copy the connection URL it shows. 2. In Cursor: Settings → MCP servers → "+ Add new MCP server" — or edit mcp.json directly: { "mcpServers": { "teamwork": { "url": "https://teamwork.b77.ai/mcp" } } }. 3. Save and restart; Cursor asks you to sign in with your B77 account once, then the tools are available to the agent. The connection URL is https://file-storage.b77.ai/mcp.

What data can File Storage access?

Reads: The filename, type, tags, and description you provide for each upload. Never sees: The file bytes — they upload directly from your machine to storage, not through the chat. Storage: Files you upload are kept until you delete them, and are public by an unguessable link. Access runs through your own OAuth sign-in and stays scoped to your account — B77 never sees your passwords, and you can disconnect the app at any time.

Is File Storage free?

Yes. File Storage is free on B77 — no card, no trial clock. Install it, connect it to your assistant and use it. If File Storage talks to a third-party service, that service's own plan still applies.

Can I share File Storage with my team?

Yes. From the app's Manage page on B77 you invite teammates by email; they add the same File Storage connection to their own assistant and use it under your access, without setting up credentials themselves. Team apps such as Knowledge Base, Teamwork and Feedback also let you invite people per project. You can revoke a share at any time, and every call is written to the usage log.
